A hospital emergency entrance
One man was killed and two were injured when two cars collided at an East Palo Alto intersection on Thursday, June 4. The accident occurred at East Bayshore Road and Menalto Avenue around 12:42 p.m.
According to the East Palo Police, the collision occurred when one of the drivers attempted to make a left turn from Menalto Avenue to go south onto East Bayshore Road. The driver's car was broadsided by another car traveling northbound on East Bayshore.
When the police arrived at the scene of the accident, they found that the male driver of the car that was broadsided had life threatening injuries and died at the scene. The driver and passenger of the other car, both male juveniles, were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
None of the drivers has yet to be identified and the East Palo Alto Police Department is seeking more information about the accident.
