A 32-year-old male was found sitting on the sidewalk in East Palo Alto this morning shortly after midnight with a bullet wound in his face.

The East Palo Alto police officers, who found the victim near 1017 Beech Street, reported that he might have been a victim of road rage and was shot after two vehicles collided.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Both the victim and witnesses at the scene gave conflicting statements to the police. Hours after the shooting, the police found another vehicle that might have been involved in the collision. The police said that the occupants of the second vehicle also gave conflicting statements.

No one has been arrested for the shooting and the police are asking for anyone who has information about the shooting incident to contact the police by email at epa@tipnow.org.
