A 20-year-old Vallejo resident sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his legs on Sunday, January 20 in East Palo Alto. The shooting took place at approximately 2:29 a.m.
The East Palo Alto Police report that its officers received a Shotspotter activation informing them of a shooting in the area of 501 Bell Street. When police officers arrived at this location they located evidence of the shooting.
The officers were informed that the shooting victim was driven to a local hospital by friends.
The police have not identified the victim and they report that they have no suspects and no motive for the shooting.
The East Palo Alto Police Department is requesting that anyone who might have witnessed the shooting or anyone with any knowledge of this shooting incident or other incidents contact the police by:
