A 27 year old male was stabbed in East Palo Alto over the Labor Day weekend. The East Palo Alto Police report that they received a 911 call on September 3 at 3:21 a.m. The caller said that there was a fight taking place at 1112 Newbridge Street.
When the police arrived at the address, they found a male victim who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. Menlo Park Fire Department personnel and American Medical Response Paramedics treated the victim and transported him to a local hospital. When he was admitted, he was listed in critical but stable condition.
Several hours after the fight a 17 year old male resident called the East Palo Alto Police to report that he had been robbed and cut. The police report that after they questioned him, he admitted his involvement in the earlier stabbing.
He was taken to the San Mateo County Youth Services Center where he was book on charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
Police officials are still investigating the motive for the stabbing and they are asking that anyone who might have any knowledge about the incident contact the East Palo Alto Police Department by:
