Jasmine Delafuente, 32, pleaded not guilty to embezzling $3,200 from 6 to 9 Dental in East Palo Alto. Delafuente worked as the office manager at the dental office, which is located at Ravenswood 101 Shopping Center for two months, when her employer reportedly noticed discrepancies in the amount of cash that was collected and the amount that DelaFuente deposited in the bank.

It is alleged that Delafuente, who is a San Leandro resident, took the money from the dental office’s deposits from June 29, 2012 to July 19, 2012.  When she was arrested, Delafuente was also on probation for embezzling from two other dental offices in Redwood City.  She is accused of stealing $70,000 from one of the offices and nearly $7,000 from the other office.

With her latest arrest, Delafuente is now in custody with no bail permitted for the two other cases.

After her prelimary hearing in the Redwood City Felony Court was reset three times in September, Delafuente pleaded not guilty and did not waive her right to a speedy trial.

A pretrial conference is scheduled for October 30, at 1:30 p.m. and her case is set for trial on November 13 at 8:45 a.m. Delafuente remains in custody with the bail set at $ 25,000.
